The ride duration time is around an hour. See the route at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/39187692.
The ride is quite scenic and varied as we ride through the various sections of the cemetery. There will be opportunities to stop along the way.
Please note that there are a few kilometres of fairly bumpy gravel tracks, which may not be to everyone's taste. Bikes with skinny tyes are not recommended, but most mountain and hybrid type bike should be ok. There is an option for avoiding most of the gravel sections - Please let me know if you'd prefer this option.
Most of the roads are reasonably quiet. Crossing East St (twice) is probably the most challenging part of the route. There are a couple of hills which are walkable if necessary.
Please try and register for the ride using Buncheur. From past experience, there are a few steps in the process that need to occur which aren't always the most intuitive or obvious. See the notes at https://www.camwest.org.au/docs/Buncheur-Ride-Booking.pdf to guide you through the process. If unsuccessful, please text or call to let me know that you're planning to come; I'll have the old paper sign-on sheet available! On the day entries accepted if we haven't reached capacity - but I'd prefer to know before hand so I can contact you in case plans change.
