RIDE NAME DISCIPLINE START TIME DISTANCE ROUTE FIELD SIZE PRICE

Description

This is a 20km relatively flat relaxed pace ride with at least several stops.  Around 90% of the route is on shared path, with the remainder on-road through the Yennora industrial area.

We'll be using the Prospect Canal cycleway to get to Prospect Reservoir where we'll have a break (toilets and drinking water available), and then coming back along the Prospect Ck Shared path and a short section of the Parramatta to Glenfield rail-trail.  We're planning to do a slight variation on this ride - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34807202

Please note there are no planned food/coffee stops along the route. There may be an ice-cream van at Prospect Reservoir, but please don't rely on it.  BYO snacks.  We may head out for coffee or a bite to eat after we get back to Guildford.

We're starting on the eastern (Railway Terrace) side of Guildford Station, beside the lift to the overbridge at 10am.  The anticipated ride time is around 3 hours.

If driving to the start, cars can be parked along Trenton Rd, and then cross back over the railway line at the bridge near the Trenton Rd and Military Rd intersection, and ride back to Guildford station on the shared path alongside Railway Terrace.

Please bring a filled water bottle and preferably a spare tube/tyre repair kit and pump.

Please let Rob know if you're intending to come along.  Ph 0415 902 708.  Group size is limited to 10 riders.

Hope to see you there!
