Description
Greenwich Ferry. Cross Fwy via share bridge, ride south on cycle
path alongside Fwy. Cross left with care up into West Street.
Opposite Ridge St turn right into Hazelbank Place. Cross Pacific H'wy
at lights into Hazelbank, right Gillies, left Shirley, right Milner, right
Russel, left into Smoothy Park. Cross narrow bridge over gully, left
into Glenview, then veer right on Glenview, left into Chisolm, right
into Wardrop, left into Greenwich Rd, left into Manns, right into
George, left into Mitchell down to Wharf.
Catch Ferry to Cockatoo Island. Visit Island for one hour. Return
ferry to Barangaroo or Circular Quay.
Cycle return journey via Harbour Bridge, North Sydney, right Millers,
left Ridge, right West . At roundabout turn left down to cross Fwy
and ride cycle path northwards and cross share bridge to
Naremburn shops.
Notes: Catching 10.06 Ferry from Greenwich Wharf to Cockatoo Island. History commentary. Cleats not suitable, sand/grit surfaces. Coffee break on Island. Leaving Island on 11.43 Ferry into Barangaroo.Bring Opal card. Leader's mobile on ride 0493 382 359. Inclement weather will cancel ride. Monitor calendar.
