            Description

            From Huskisson the route goes south on a shared walking and cycling path (there may be more walkers than cyclists – so no need for speed here.) Once we get to Vincentia the route follows a safe, wide, quiet cycle path to Sanctuary Point, from where we cycle through to St. Georges Basin to get a great view of the sea at Basin View. (Notice the name of the side road on the right at 19.75km mark, visited again on the right at 20.35km). Don’t forget to stop at the boat ramp where there are some good toilets.
            The last part of the ride is on quiet country roads up to the small village of Tomerong. Turn right before Tomerong Public School on Church Street where there is a nice park and public toilets (and often Kangaroos.) Don’t be put off when the road ends, continue of the path through to see all the new houses on Connolly Street.
            The route takes you back to Huskisson along Pine Forest Road.

            Notes: This is another new Nowra ride. Join us for a nice ride looking at the sea and come back to Huskisson in time for lunch at The Huskisson Hotel or in time to head off back home.

            SuitabilityA gentle ride for people who like looking at the scenery rather than cycling fast, as it is a pretty ride with many fine sea views.
            FeaturesMany pretty sea views. A large proportion of the route is on shared cycleways and when on roads they are mostly quiet country roads. The ride starts and ends at The Huskisson Hotel – a great place to eat at the end of the ride.
            Coffee stopMany, depending on your capacity: The first is the Sanctuary Point Bakery, then at St. Georges Basin you have a number of choices: The Kraken Sourdough Bakery and the Coffee Nook at the entrance of the IGA. At the start of Basin View there is Leashy&
