Description
2. Gerroa Road was the major rat route for people living at Gerroa and Gerringong going to Nowra. The Berry bypass has reduced the traffic but it still can be a busy road with speeding cars, the road has a wide shoulder but be careful.
3. Don’t forget to turn right at Beach Road and go and see the sea at Seven Mile Beach. (There are good toilets in the Beach Road Picnic Area.) Then return to Berry up the quieter, tree lined Beach Road.
Notes: This is a new ride designed for people coming to Nowra for the weekend, allowing us all time to drive down from Sydney and break our journey with a ride starting at Berry.There is no cafe on the bike route and depending on the time we return it might be a good idea to buy a bite to eat in Berry then we can go to Seven Mile Beach and have a picnic at in the park at Beach Road Picnic Area where there are public toilets.After the ride, we can complete the drive to Nowra ready for the rest of the cycling weekend.
