Description

This is a very scenic ride.

We travel via Mona Vale Rd and McCarrs Ck Rd to views of Pittwater around Church Point and Bayview. Then quiet but hilly back roads past the northern beaches and an ocean lookout to the Palm Beach wharf where there may be time for a quick coffee before the ferry leaves. Glorious views of Broken Bay and Lion Is as we cross to Patonga. Climb up through Brisbane Waters National Park. The last stage begins with a descent to sea level down then via Ettalong Beach and Booker Bay to Woy Woy station. Return by train.

You need to call to confirm that you are coming on this ride as here is a limit to the number of bikes that can fit on the ferry. We usually return to Turramurra by early- to mid-afternoon. During summer months this ride may include a stop for a swim - bring the cosies!
