MEETING PLACE Canterbury Station Broughton St, Canterbury.
PLEASE CHECK TRAIN TIMES. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF TRACK WORK. YOU MAY HAVE TO TAKE TRAIN TO ASHFIELD AND RIDE ACROSS TO MEETING POINT FROM THERE.
We will ride down Broughton St where we will join the Cooks Rr Cycle path, which has several road crossings through chicanes. Near Strathfield Golf Course we will divert through generally quiet streets, crossing Parramatta Rd, then onto Bicentennial Park, crossing Parramatta Rr on Rhodes Bridge. We will then follow the Parramatta Cycle way leaving the track after the Western Sydney University to ride through streets including crossing a couple of major roads before arriving at Lake Parramatta where we will have coffee then regroup to return via the same route to Canterbury Station. There are a couple of short but steep sections along the way. There are some bail out points and toilets along the way. You need to feel comfortable riding on roads.
Please stay between the Leader & the Sweep and obey road rules on the ride. Check Meetup for any cancellations or changes.
