Easy ride at 15-16kph average, suitable for children who ride regularly. We will ride mainly off road using shared paths up the Cooks River Cycleway, passing Strathfield Golf Club and crossing Centennial Drive into Rookwood Cemetery. After viewing the exhibition (walking tour), those who wish may buy lunch at the Cafe at the East gates (bring money) or you can bring your own lunch. We will return via the same route after lunch.
You will need a bike in good mechanical order; helmet; water bottle; spare inner tube in case of puncture. Check tyre pressure before arriving and bring a lock to secure your bike while on the walking tour. Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

These risks may result in death, bodily injury, disability, property damage and economic loss. There are other risks to which you may be exposed. You should ensure that you wear appropriate clothing and safety equipment, including a helmet.

An approved Australian Standards helmet is required to be worn on all rides. No helmet, no ride. No exceptions. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and bring a spare tube, a pump, tyre levers, a full water bottle and any other tools you may require. Please contact the Ride Leader in advance to discuss the suitability of a ride for your children.
