Description

Enjoy riding through both the urban and rural areas of Wodonga

Head south along House Creek trail and up onto Brockley St.  Turn left and then immediately right into Hereford St until we meet the trail again at Jack Eames Reserve. We stay on the House Creek trail, crossing Pearce St, passing through Clyde Cameron Reserve and riding almost as far as Huon Creek Rd before swinging right and continuing along the Huon Creek trail through David Payne Park, Kent McKoy Reserve and David Winterbottom Park.  We go under Yarralumla Dr, turn left and head up the path parallel to Yarralumla Dr as far as Harold Draper Park after which we make a not-too-steep but longish climb up Streets Road. This effort is followed by a long downhill run on Kinchington Road to cross Baranduda Boulevard and then onto the gravelled Frederic Road (2.7kms approx)  for a ride through the rural landscape. We emerge at Boyes Rd, turn left and ride on a sealed road directly back to the bike trail adjacent to the Kiewa Valley Highway. This trail then links with the High Country Trail which will take us all the way past the Baranduda military area to the Wodonga Racecourse and onto Thomas Mitchell Drive where we can head back to central Wodonga and a coffee... most likely at Platinum Brew.
