A ride we have done a few times but always a pleasurable one as we keep mainly to the rail trail and less-used roads. Starting at Les Stone Park we head to the High Country trail and follow this trail down the Kiewa Valley Highway to Boyes Road where we head into Baranduda. Wending our way through Baranduda we emerge on Baranduda Boulevard before crossing to Boundary Road and then Hymes Road. This route takes us directly to Whytes Road for a short stretch of gravel road, well compacted, before we once again link up with the High Country trail back to Wodonga. For those of you who wish to enjoy a coffee at Platinum Brew we will finish the ride there BUT with an expected high of 38 degrees, some of you may wish to head straight home.
View the ride route here...I may not adhere exactly to this map because I'm not entirely sure of the route through Baranduda
