Description

et us venture to Western Sydney to see how the other half cycle 😮
Start: 6:58 train from Woy Woy to Epping then on the Metro
A 50km cruising paced ride, mostly on shared paths including the fantastic M7 path, from Bella Vista to the Spaghetti Junction (M7/M4 junction). The hills are small, but plentiful. Ride more continuously than usual, since there are no traffic lights or intersections - but there are over 60 "exits" to local communities so do stay on the main path!
We detour slightly off the M7 path to discover the Nurragingy Reserve, and stop on the way back for coffee at Rooty Hill shops.
Then to get home we ride back to Bella Vista and take the metro to Epping and go to platform 3 to get on the train back to Woy Woy. Opt-out possible at Rooty Hill after coffee for a train to Strathfield and back home to Woy Woy (for about a 35km ride).
NOTE: the only easily accessible toilets are at the start of the ride and at Nurragingy Reserve - none at the coffee stop
