A moderate paced ride from Kariong to Pie in the Sky cafe Cowan and back, through the picturesque Brisbane Water National Park and over the Hawkesbury River.
Designed for more experienced riders, we utilise the old Pacific Hwy and include 4 longish climbs (Mooney-Calga, PiTS, Mt.White and Mooney-Somersby) - nothing too steep, but you’ll certainly know you’ve been up a few hills by the time you get home!
BYO water, snack and money for coffee/drink at Pie in the Sky (or other cafe).
Opt-out at Brooklyn for a train to Woy Woy or Gosford if required, but you still need to get back to Kariong if your car is there. Otherwise it's "call a friend for pickup".
Coffee at Pie in the Sky at the half way point (normally), or the Estuary or The Old Road cafe Mount White on the way back.
NOTE: this ride may be cancelled due to weather or ride leader issues - please monitor this event for updates!
