[BayBUG] Concord to Centennial Park Medium 07:00 am 46 km N/A 12 $0.00 BOOK NOW

Starting at Brewer St carpark (corner Majors Bay Road) the ride will head east through Five Dock to the Bay Run and Lilyfield Rd and thence onto the Anzac Bridge.  From the bridge the ride will head through Pyrmont and the outskirts of the city to Circular Quay.  After a detour to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair the ride will head out of the city along Oxford St and onto Centennial Park.  A morning tea stop will be had in Centennial Park, and riders will be free to do a lap or two.  After the morning tea stop the ride will return to Concord via Redfern, Camperdown, Annandale and Five Dock.

The ride is graded medium and the intention is to stay on the road as much as possible.  The total distance is around 46 km with an expected average speed of 18 km/h.  We expect to set a pace in the low 20’s km/h where conditions allow.

This ride will be restricted to a maximum of 12 people (including the ride leader).  All riders must be fully vaccinated and you will be asked to present proof of meeting these requirements prior to the ride start.  You will be required to carry the proof of vaccination and carry a mask with you on the ride as well.

Please advise me by return mail if you would like to join the ride. An email announcement will be made once the ride is full.
