23km Mt Druitt to Wianamatta Regional Park Loop | Easy | 9am | 23km | N/A | 10 | $0.00 | BOOK NOW |
After the initial section on road, the route follows shared paths through the Ropes Ck corridor to just before the Ropes Crossing development. It then winds along the external boundary of the regional park, before entering the park. The route traverses a number of the largely disused roads within the park, before leaving and again winding around the external boundary towards Willmot. A few kms of road is then used to bring us to the start of one of the older shared paths in this part of Sydney - The Lethbridge Park to Mt Druitt cycleway. This is followed all the way back to Mt Druitt. Parts of the path have been upgraded, while other parts are showing their age.
The route is at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40133431
There are undercover picnic tables and restrooms in the regional park. There is the option of swinging by a coffee shop at Mt Druitt at the end of the ride.
Start outside Mt Druitt Station on the North Parade side, closest to the railway line.
Please let Rob know via text of email if you're planning on attending.
