From Noreuil Park, we head through South Albury and up onto the Albury Thurgoona Trail. We ride all the way to Thurgoona, past the racecourse and the Equestrian Centre turning right into Thurgoona Drive and then left into Elizabeth Mitchell Drive. At the end of Elizabeth Mitchell Drive, we get on to the packed dirt of Ettamogah Rd. If the weather is good we’ll get a magnificent view of Mt Bogong as we descend to Table Top Rd. We then follow Table Top Rd, past the Kinross Woolshed, over Thurgoona Drive and all the way back down to the Riverina Highway. There’s a quick detour into Waterworks Rd, over the bridge into Victoria and the chance for a dip in the waters of the Murray before retracing our steps to the Highway. Avoiding Borella Rd, the route takes us along Cadell St and back onto the Thurgoona Trail.
I’ve attached a link to the route…I had a little trouble near the end trying to get the markers in the right place so the last 2 kms are not mapped precisely.
